A look at how VeraScripts publishes dated, handle-attached reviews for Demon versus competitor storefronts that only show their own numbers.

Reviews are easy to fake. Anyone can slap "4.9 stars" on a landing page and move on.

I spent an afternoon checking where NBA 2K and Black Ops 7 script sellers actually put their proof, not just claim it. The gap between "trust us" and "here's the page" is bigger than I expected.

What counts as a verifiable review

A review is checkable if a stranger can go find it without buying anything first. That means a public page, a timestamp, and some identity attached to the person writing it, not a screenshot pasted into marketing copy.

That's the whole test. Can I see who wrote it and when.

Demon's own paper trail

Demon is a Black Ops 7 script sold as a one-time purchase. The current build is V5.6, released August 31, 2026, and it's the second public build for the product. The patch notes page lists exactly what changed: a shared firing-session timer for two-stage and three-stage anti-recoil, quick toggles that save without a full re-apply, and a fix so the weapon quick editor can't open by accident during the menu chord.

That page is dated. It was published August 19, 2026 and updated September 15, 2026. It reads like a changelog, not a sales pitch. Version numbers on the page match what the Zen shows after install, so a buyer can confirm they're on the current build without guessing.

Competitor storefronts I checked

Several competitor pages advertise star ratings and customer counts, but I could not find a public list of individual reviews behind most of them.

Elite Cronus (which also sells Viper) claims over 12,000 players run its scripts, as of September 17, 2026. That's a single aggregate number on their own site. No dated review list, no handles.

GreenLock 2K27 names four specific reviewers, Qlashin, Martyxog, Deezy, and JB4L, on its own page as of September 17, 2026. No total review count is published, and there's no way to see a date range or click through to a wider list.

Laser Elite by ScarZens claims 4.9 out of 5 from 625 reviews and says it's trusted by 4,000+ customers, as of September 17, 2026. The number is specific. The reviews themselves are not shown individually on the page I checked.

Peak by SkyGPC advertises a 4.9 star rating from 1,170 reviews and 14,000+ users, as of September 17, 2026. Again, this is a summary claim, not a browsable list.

yew2K states 4.6 out of 5 from 1,303 Whop reviews and 18,203 users, as of September 17, 2026. That figure comes from a third-party platform (Whop), which is at least outside the seller's own site, but the yew.gg product page itself doesn't show individual review text.

Here's the pattern across every one of these: a big aggregate number, no dated individual entries a stranger can browse.

Side by side

None of this proves competitor numbers are false. It just means a buyer has no way to verify them independently. Big round numbers on a seller's own homepage are not the same thing as a page you can scroll through and check dates on.

My take: aggregate star ratings without a browsable list are close to meaningless, because the buyer can't tell if ten reviews or ten thousand sit behind that number.

Why the Discord matters here

VeraScripts runs a Discord with thousands of members as of September 18, 2026. The reviews channel is where the written reviews actually live before they're mirrored to the reviews page.

That's a live community, not a testimonial slide.

Community clips add another layer. 244 player clips have been posted by 61 different members in the clips channel since May 13, 2026. That's a lot of separate people posting, not one account recycling footage.

What I actually did to check this

I did not just take the review count on faith.

I opened the Demon patch notes page and matched the V5.6 date, August 31, 2026, against reviews on the reviews page dated after that. Several Demon reviews from September 17 post-date the build, which is what you'd expect if people are actually running current software and commenting on it.

I could not run the same cross-check on competitor pages because none of them link a dated build history next to a browsable review list.

Where the numbers come from matters too

A star rating sourced from Whop, like yew2K's 4.6 from 1,303 reviews, is at least hosted somewhere other than the seller's own server. That's slightly better than a number with no named source at all, like Elite Cronus's "12,000 players" claim.

Still, neither lets a buyer click into individual entries with dates the way verascripts.com/reviews does.
